Required experience and skills

  • University degree in Telecommunications and/or Engineering
  • Experience in leading cross functional international / virtual teams and parallel delivery and work all Natco countries and complex CAPEX efficiency and Cost reduction programs
  • 10+  years’ experience in strategy execution over complex large and multi-national projects to introduce new network automation technologies & functions and automation platforms 
  • Proven competence in agile product management and business transformation with focus on strategy execution of transformation leadership programs. Experience in strategical product roadmap alignment with business
  • Proven and strong experience in Automation areas (LCM, Test Automation , AI, ML, process automation) introduction and legacy transformation understanding demand and efficiency measures. Good understanding of the digital operations and E2E automation, including telco services
  • Technology evangelist, a person who builds a critical mass of support for a given technology and leading innovation
  • Partner and supplier (vendor) management knowledge including managed services and product logic. Excellent understanding of automation vendor landscape, especially beyond the traditional NT vendors.
  • Qualified in telco business management on combining local and central demand, technology capabilities, available budget
  • Efficient in telco solution and capability evaluation and implementation into complex DTAG segments and local markets
  • Expertise in automatization technology screening and knowledge in supplier landscape and strategy
  • Experience in the introduction, migration, and optimization of network E2E validation solutions in whole lifecycle plan- run – build

This position is for you, if you are interested in the following tasks

  • Functionally lead the Automation Platform teams to deliver scaling building blocks, components and ensure partner centric value creation (for NatCos and their end customers) for all automation topics in TDI. The functional responsibility covers the entire DT’s TaaP Automation landscape as defined in TPM and in HDA covering the entire Plan-Build-Run lifecycle.
  • Build a flexible organization and responsible for the tribe progress through content guidance and support of the team strengths and capabilities
  • Build a higly collaborative shared leadership team with the Chapter (line) organization responsible for people process and resource allocation
  • Together with Chapter Area Lead SPOC align on required skills and resource demands for the planned acitivies within the Platform.
  • Responsible for the strategy development and long-term objectives of the automation platform as well as ensure the implementation of the strategy is happening in the NatCos. Strong collaboration on strategies with Group Technology, COME and Techincal Solution teams/tribes. 
  • Ideation, setup and review of new features, suppliers and possibilities to bring forward innovation and balance between cost vs usage.
  • Contribute to the EU markets planning and definition of technology and financial strategy (Capex, Opex)
  • Profit and loss responsibility for the tribe scope
  • Alignment of priorities between NatCos /DTAG, manage conflicts and ensure common solution on portfolio- and program level
  • Prioritization of overarching requirements in the tribe and outside own tribe, especially with TSOs.
  • Deliver the automation support for introduction/pilots of Network Functions in live networks together with NatCos/DTAG in a DevOps mindset
  • Technical vendor alignment, managing contracts and overarching changes, ensure fitting roadmaps and in-time delivery of required features & solutions
